Reservation

By completing a reservation, you acknowledge to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions.

 

Full payment is required at the time of booking.  All prices include VAT.  Upon check out all outstanding charges must be paid for in full.  Kindly note that the card used to secure the reservation will be charged with the final bill unless specified otherwise at check out. Your booking will not be confirmed until we have received full payment.  On receipt of full payment a confirmation email will be sent.

 

An overnight stay is classed as from 3pm on the date of arrival until 11am the following day. If staying for more than one night your stay begins at 3pm on the date of arrival and ends at 11am on the date of departure.

 

Cancellations

 

We can only accept cancellations by email. Emails should be addressed to hello@thedundonald.com

 

Cancellations will only be considered as set out below:

 

  • Cancellations made by 3pm 14 days before check-in will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made up to 7 days before 3pm on day of check-in will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations with less than 7 days notice are non refundable.
  • For any International refunds a fee of £20 will be applied.

 

Pets

 

Unfortunately, The Dundonald does not accommodate pets.

 

Smoking

 

The Dundonald is a non-smoking premises and does not permit smoking or vaping in any public area. This includes all areas of the cottage, guest rooms, bathrooms, stairways and hallways, lounge, dining room, courtyard, terrace and carpark.

 

Food & Beverages

 

The Dundonald Guesthouse is licensed to sell alcohol.  Only drinks purchased on the premises may be consumed here.  Mini bars have been freshly stocked with a fresh price list.  Our new selection of wine, local cocktails, beer and Scottish Gin is available. 

 

Damage

 

We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to charge your credit/debit card for any damages incurred to your room or the premises during your stay or for any items missing when you leave. This includes damage or staining to any of our linen or soft furnishings. We also reserve the right to judge acceptable levels of noise and suitable behaviour of guests. If no reasonable action is taken by the guest when asked to do so The Dundonald may terminate the booking at any time without being liable for a refund or compensation. When you check in you will be asked to sign a reservation card. By signing that card you are agreeing to all of the above terms and conditions.

 

Closing

 

Please note that our outdoor courtyard and terrace close at 10.45pm. Doors to the guesthouse lock at 11pm.

 

Parking

 

Private parking is subject to availability upon request.
